There is no WTC building in Paris (as far as i know!) but this building: "La Grande Arche" is the more emblematic building of the business area of Paris called La Defense. This building is located on a road which end to the "Arc de Triomple" and is a kind of modern replica...
Père Lachaise is one of the most well-known cemeteries in the world. Numerous famous people are buried there, including Delacroix, Chopin, Balzac, Modigliani, Edith Piaf . . .
This is the Guimard entrance of the Denfert Rochereau entrance. I have found a website with all the Guimard stations (it is possible to find there metro stations that are almost identical to the one in Mexico city). It seems that during the 40s Guimard stations have been destroyed (!!!). A part of theses stations have been given to other cities metropolitan such as Montreal (Canada), Lisboa (Portugal) and of course Mexico city. So David it seems that the Guimard station you have in Mexico city is an original one!
French taxis waiting for customers in Paris in front of the Meridien hotel at Montparnasse. In fact there is no ecologic taxis in Paris and neither green car.
Shoes shinners are really really not easy to find in Paris. These two are inside the Montparnasse Shopping Mall in front of the Galeries Lafayettes... A security guard was just around me saying photo are forbiden inside the shopping mall that is why i have to steal it (and also why quality is so poor).
In French "le marché" (Market in English) is the word for open air market. In Paris every area got his own "marché", you can find the list here (in French!).
